I would absolutely recommend Jon and his team at Oakland. They were always on time, hard working, knowledgeable and efficient. We had some trees removed and new fencing put up. It looks great, and the garden was left very clean and tidy.

From the moment I enquired, to completion of the job, the whole Oakland team delivered excellent service cutting down a large sycamore tree which was sadly diseased and dying. Jon was very quick to visit us to quote and within a few days we had agreed a convenient time to carry out the work. A very professional team completed the task. Very happy with Oakland, from the initial onsite inspection of our poorly beech tree right through to the safe felling, due to disease. Oakland took care of all the necessary paperwork (as we’re in a Conservation area) and booked us in as soon as the order was granted. In addition to felling our beautiful tree, they also cut back into shape our magnolia tree and enormous pear tree. A lot of work, but they were swift and conscientious, and did an excellent job on all 3 trees. Our gardens were left extremely tidy afterwards, no mean feat in the snow! I also appreciate the teams’ compassionate and kindly nature, as I was so upset at finding out our tree would need to be taken down - and was, predictably, upset on the day of felling. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. The best arborists we’ve used in all the years of living here, and very reasonably priced for the size of the jobs.
